The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau), Food Services and Religious Services have created a joint Request for Information (RFI) to seek information about the Halal food market. The goal of this RFI is to obtain detailed information about Halal manufacturing businesses, Halal product specifications, copies of Halal certified labels, and nutritional data.

Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for any costs related to the development and submission of information in response to this RFI.

Previous responses (response to DJBP0700NASRFI150002) are still valid. If updated information or additional information is available then the response in its entirety is requested.

Questions regarding this RFI must be emailed in Word format to [email protected] by January 13, 2016. Questions and answers will only be provided through the
amendment tentatively scheduled to be posted on January 15, 2016.

Responses to this RFI shall be emailed to [email protected] in PDF format no later than 2:00 PM EST on January 22, 2016.
