The applicable NAICS code is 621111, which applies to establishments of health practitioners having the degree of M.D. (Doctor of medicine) or D.O. (Doctor of osteopathy) primarily engaged in the independent practice of general or specialized medicine (except psychiatry or psychoanalysis) or surgery. These practitioners operate private or group practices in their own offices (e.g., centers, clinics) or in the facilities of others, such as hospitals or HMO medical centers.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, transportation, material, supplies, and supervision necessary to provide up to five hospitalists to cover medical admissions, medical consults (ER and inpatient), ICU admissions (including ventilator patients) and manage the same. Recruitment and initial credentialing to be done by the company.

The contractor must also have applicable expertise in government acquisition and program management disciplines. This expertise is essential to ensure that cost, schedule, performance, and risk associated with the procurement are effectively applied in support of the IHS mission.

The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this Sources Sought Synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein.
