The purpose of this RFP is to provide the Buffalo Public Schools with a rigorous, interactive Technology textbook aligned to the New York State MST and CDOS Learning Standards. This textbook will be available to all schools with 7th and 8th grade. The textbook must be available in Languages other than English, must be culturally responsive, as well as offer supports for students identified as English Language Learners and Special Education. The textbook must be available as online textbook, including teacher resources, activities and assessments. It also must include rigorous and relevant hands-on activities related to the text readings, all aligned to the NYS MST Standards. The textbook must explicitly draw lines between the theoretical framework of Career and Technical Education, the practical application of that theory, and the pathways toward employment in the Technical fields.
