VBCPS has a need for varying internet bandwidth throughout the year. Currently, VBCPS has two 8 Gbps Internet connections. Each connection is needed to support the everyday internet needs of VBCPS. The Internet feeds are vital and cannot be interrupted. VBCPS owns a /23 set of IPV4 internet addresses. The service provider should be able to make changes to bandwidth provided as needed at different times during the school year. Bandwidth charges will be pro-rated for the time periods in which the bandwidth is increased or decreased. The services requested in this document are a part of the E-Rate filings for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. The Offeror shall provide dedicated internet services of at least 8 Gbps of non-throttled, non-filtered, dedicated Internet connectivity scalable to 20 Gbps. Download RFP for more information.
