At this time, images captured in areas not covered by Radiology or Cardiology are printed out and scanned into Cerner Soarian Clinicals EMR or Cerner EDM. SMC Health intends to use the Proposed Solution as a technology foundation to cover/encompass all of the SMC Health Divisions that deliver patient/client services into one system and then into one EHR Solution. The County of San Mateo signed a master agreement with Epic System Corporation in December of 2022 to provide a single EHR solution for the department along with a hosting service. The planned “go-live” is November of 2024. SCOPE This project involves developing an image service that spans across all of the SMC Health Divisions, delivering patient/client scanning services. The image solution consists of providing imaging services for radiology, cardiology, neurology, dentistry, endoscopy, laboratory, and surgery. It shall be built utilizing Interoperability services, EHR charts, and Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) via hosted and hybrid environments.
