The City of Columbia is inviting professional artists to submit their qualifications for the creation of a sculpture to be permanently displayed on an outdoor sculptural box located in downtown Columbia, Tennessee. The work will be an integral part of Columbia’s increasing prioritization of public art and serve as a catalyst for further development of the arts, culture, and tourism in the City. The public art box constructed as part of the West 6th Streetscape Project is located at the west-most end of the streetscape. The creation of a sculpture to be featured in the public art box is the primary objective of this artist call.
