ERDC-CRREL intends to purchase one (1) Riegl VQ480i Laser Scanner in accordance with the following salient features:
1) 60-degree field of view
2) Full-waveform target capability
3) Full-waveform digitization
4) Online waveform processing - real-time
5) 1550 um eye safe wavelength (class 1)
6) Range capability of at least 2000m
7) Capable of 550kHz acquisition rates
8) Unlimited number of targets
9) IMU mounts and GPS synchronization ports
10)Necessary processing software to collect data in
multiple platforms
11)Multiple Time Around pulse capabilities
12)Accuracy and precision of 20 mm or better
13)Angular resolution of 0.0001 degrees or better
The scanner shall have the following salient features:
1) The laser pulse repetition rate must be 550kHz
2) The form factor shall be compact and <12Kg
3) Designed with online full waveform data processing capabilities
4) The Ingress Protection (IP) rating requires at least an IP64 protection class
Riegl USA, Inc was identified as the only vendor capable of offering a product meeting the requisite specifications and interoperability requirements with CRREL's existing Riegl hardware and uniquely designed software; fully interoperability is required to allow the system to take accurate LiDAR measurements and function seamlessly while deployed in the field alongside other Riegl equipment.
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516, which has a size standard of 500 employees.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed. All submissions will be considered, however there is no guarantee that submissions in response to this notice will in any way alter the Government's acquisition strategy.
