The Utilities Department, Wastewater Division, require a Contractor to provide Rockwell rejuvenation services on an as needed basis throughout the year. The City may re-drill or rejuvenate up to 100 to 200 Rockwells annually, budget permitting. On occasion up to two (2) Modesto, Parish County Rockwells may require rejuvenation on the same business day. Occasionally an existing well cannot be rejuvenated because the surrounding soil has become too compacted after years of use. In these instances, the City usually installs a drywell, but occasionally there is not enough room for a drywell, so a new Rockwell must be drilled. The successful bidder shall have the ability to meet these requirements.
