This notice inviting bids is for the purchase (exchange) of one rotor head for an MD500E helicopter from an MD Helicopter approved overhaul facility. The rotor head specified is MD Helicopter part number 369D21200-503. For the purposes of this bid rotor head will be purchased on an exchange basis with the Pasadena Police Department Air Operations Section remitting to the vendor a rotor head to be used as a core for exchange purposes. Bid is to include all shipping/handling fees and applicable California sales tax as well as any necessary Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) paperwork and associated documents such as return to service documents and other associated items. Delivery of the exchange rotor head must be within thirty calendar days of the date on which the bid is awarded to the eligible vendor.
