The Naval Air Systems Command, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole-source basis with Agilent Technologies Inc, Englewood, CO for the following items: 5 each Multimeters p/n E1412A-J01, 5 each Downconverters p/n N8201A-526-110-H01-HS1, 5 each Powermeters p/n E4419BZ-K06, 5 each RF Switches p/n 87104C-100, 5 each RF Switches p/n 87106C-100, 5 each Pulse Generators p/n E8305A-H11, 5 each Power Sensors p/n 8485D, 5 each Power Dividers p/n 11667B, 5 each Attenuators p/n 8493C-020. Agilent Technologies is the sole designer, developer and integrator of these RTCASS parts and is the only known firm with the unique knowledge, experience, technical data, to provide these items. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
