This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary.

The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the NAICS code 334210. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is 1,000 Employees. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project were it to be solicited, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey and provide their contact information to determine market capabilities.

Hurlburt Field, FL, is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide Ruggedized Cisco Switches.

The potential requirement will consist of the contractor providing:

1. Ruggedized Cisco Switch
- Basic RIP and static routing
- 4 SFP-based gigabit ports
- Stackable, allowing up to nine switches to be integrated into a single unit with a single IP address
- Rugged 1U, 19" rack or transit case EIA form factor
- Easily Mounted: Delrin glides or fixed mount
- Operational Temp, MIL-STD-810F, Method 501.5, Procedure I/II: -15 degrees Celsius to +55 degrees Celsius
- Storage: MIL-STD-801F, Method 501.5, Procedure: -55 degree Celsius to +85 degrees

2. Mounting Kit for Ruggedized Cisco Switch
