Description and Code:  70 - GENERAL PURPOSE ADPE AND SUPPORT (Ruggedized Rackmount Displays)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 

Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-15-T-4458 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation.

This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure, on a sole source basis to Z Microsystems Inc., located at 9830 Summers Ridge Road, San Diego, California  92121.  The following items to be procured are as follows.

1) QTY: 5  Ruggedized Rackmount 24" LCD with DVI and VGA Video Input                 P/N: IDS24AR-W2DDAC-000

2)QTY: 5   Hinged Rackmount Kit
P/N: IDS-MNT-24HU19P

These specific Ruggedized Rackmounts with LCD, DVI, VGA, and Kit are required to provide connectivity to the existing Digital SIGINT System (DSS).  The Displays are manufactured by Z Microsystems Inc., to test another display for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) would incur additional cost and associated manpower labor and time, and is not considered in the best interest of the Government

Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12.  The order shall be firm fixed price.   All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).  Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov .
