This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified business sources; (2) whether they are a large business; small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; small disadvantaged businesses; or a non-profit business; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed procurement. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The National Park Service is conducting Market Research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested businesses capable of providing Janitorial Services at Valley Forge National Historic Park located in the town of King of Prussia, Upper Merion Township; Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. For purposes of the Sources Sought, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720, Janitorial Services, with a small business size standard of $18 million. The NPS is contemplating a firm-fixed-price procurement of janitorial services for a base year and two option years. The work area includes six (6) facilities within Valley Forge National Park, (VAFO). All facilities are within 200 yards of each other. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and provide all necessary supervision, tools, supplies, equipment including safety equipment, labor, and transportation. If a solicitation is issued as a small business set-aside then pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern.
