Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Yuma, AZ has a requirement for all labor, supervision, transportation for pickup and delivery services, supplies, vehicles, tools, and equipment to provide a contractor-owned contractor-operated (COCO) laundry service for a one-year base period of 1 January 2012 through and including 30 September 2012 and a one-year option period of 1 October 2012 through and including 30 September 2013. Laundry services include the laundering, drying, folding and ironing of government and contactor provided items such as, but not limited to: patient gowns, surgical wraps, towels, wool blankets, sheets, pillow cases, mattress pads, mattress covers, comforters, mats, and dust mops. Medical laundry is to be laundered in accordance with industry standards, Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, any existing Federal regulations, and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) regulations. This is a requirements contract. A single award will result from the solicitation. This is an unrestricted solicitation. Quantities are estimates and not guaranteed.
