The proposals will be evaluated on the Offerorââ¬â¢s technical submission and price quotation. Technical and price factors will be equal in significance. Offerors are required to submit separate technical and price proposals for the project. As a result of this Request for Proposal, the offeror determined to be the best in ability and value to the Government will be awarded this contract.
The contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, utilities, supervision and management; unless otherwise specified; required to provide Pest Control Services using integrated pest management techniques to prevent and control unwanted arthropod and vertebrate pests, including but not limited to cockroaches, termites, ants, fleas, silverfish, stored product pests, mosquitoes, mice, rats, bats, feral dogs and cats and other vertebrates, bees, wasps, pigeons, and nuisance birds turf, ornamental and other miscellaneous pest control services at Naval Support Activity, Crane, IN and annex Glendora Test Facility, Glendora, IN.
The accomplishment of this work effort will be via a combination Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract utilizing the Commercial Acquisition Procedures found in Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12. The contract will also provide for four (4) additional 12-month periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government (see NFAS Clause 5252.217-9301 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract-Services (June 1994)).
This proposed contract will be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561710 Exterminating and Pest Control Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $6.0 Million. Proposals are due May 24, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. local time, Crane, Indiana.
