Services non-personal: Provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, & transportation necessary to provide the following services for the Keesler Air Force Base Medical Center, KAFB, MS: Clean, sanitize, and resurface (with anti-microbial encapsulate) the AHU-34 ductwork located in hospital laboratory. Only negative forced air equipment 5,000 CFM or greater and agitating or brushing equipment that will not damage ducts may be used. Only non-corrosive HVAC cleansers/disinfectants may be used (i.e. no bleach, etc.); contractor shall ensure that cleansers used will not cause oxidation. Provide pre and post video depicting initial condition and results of the cleaning. Provide decontamination clean-up and appropriate disposal of all debris generated. Replace air register vents, flex duct, and ceiling tiles and clean space above ceiling. While performing duct cleaning, contractor shall appropriately seal area to prevent contamination of surrounding areas and prevent personnel exposure to any harmful contaminants. Prior to acceptance of work, contractor shall ensure inspection by independently certified third party industrial hygienist certifies ducts are free of mold spores. Work must be directly supervised by a Certified Mold Remediator (CMR). Work shall be accomplished in accordance with commercial procedures and applicable regulations (EPA, OSHA, Federal, State, & Local, and ANSI, ASME, NADCA, IAQA, & ASHRA guidelines), including those applicable to the disposal of hazardous biological materials (i.e. harmful molds, etc.). Services are to be performed over a period no longer than four days, while the lab is closed. Work will be phased to allow for continuous lab operation, specific dates to be coordinated with hospital staff. Anticipated award date is 17 Feb 2004. This action is 100% set aside for small businesses (NAICS 561790/SIC 7349 - $6 Mil threshold). All responsible small business sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by this agency.
