The MEDVAMC hereby announces its intention to solicit a firm-fixed price contract with a responsible contractor who shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to deliver medical waste pickup and disposal services at MEDVAMC, 2002 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030 in accordance with an approved treatment method enforced by federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, including the TCEQ, TDH, OSHA, DOT, CDC, and EPA. The contract if awarded will comprise of one base year plus one year option for renewal. This solicitation for the aforementioned services is assigned reference number 580-01-06 and is unrestricted. The NAICS code 562211 and its small business size standard of 11.5 million dollars apply to this solicitation. This solicitation will be posted and available for download on December 23, 2005 from http://fedbizopps.gov/.
