Pre-solicitation: Sharps Waste Container Exchange System for the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center (CNVAMC), Augusta GA The Network Contracting Office (NCO 7) is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for solicitation number 36C24718R0088. The resulting contract is for Sharps Waste Container Exchange System to support the Charlie Norwood VA Medical facilities in Augusta, GA and outlying clinics. The contract performance period includes a base plus four (4) one-year option. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 562112 Hazardous Waste Collection, standard size 38.5 mil. This requirement will be issued as a Firm Fixed Priced Type contract set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Site Visit: A site visit will be conducted on 13 March 2018, at 10am local time. Aiken Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) 951 Millbrook Ave., Aiken, South Carolina 29803 Solicitation will be forthcoming. The solicitation will not be mailed out. All interested sources must go to the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov and obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation. Offerors are responsible to ensure their proposal package is received by the exact time and date at the specified location for receipt of proposals. In addition, offerors are responsible for continuing to monitor the websites for any/all future Amendments issued, if any. Offerors shall sign copies of any amendment issued and submit with their package. Offerors need to be registered in the System for Awardee Management (SAM) and listed as a small business concern prior to submission of proposal.
