This ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE, it is a Request for Information (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT (SS) ONLY. This RFI/SS is ISSUED for the purpose of developing a viable solicitation that will best communicate the Government's requirements to industry. The requested information is for planning purposes only and does NOT constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect cost or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this RFI. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information. Proprietary information will be safe guarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations.

The Government is seeking information and feedback from industry/vendors on providing services for the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). This requirement provides the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Financial Management and Budget (SAF/FMB) with data stewardship for the Air Force budget process, stored in the Automated Budget Interactive Data Environment System (ABIDES). The contractor shall provide sustainment support for ABIDES' data tables, data relationships, business rules, interfaces, automated processes, change logs and system documentation. The contractor shall provide data entry and report generation training and troubleshooting assistance to SAF/FMB Appropriation Teams and other system users.
