The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Hawaii will have an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Sale of approximately 120,000 pounds of recyclable used military brass shell casings (deformed) (5.56mm, 50 cal., 7.62mm, 9mm/.44/22 cal.) in 37 tri-wall cardboard boxes containing between 2,600 and 3,400 pounds of brass each.  The property is located at MCBH Recycling Center, Bldg. 132, Kaneohe, HI  96863.  Inspection dates are open from 16 February 2016 through 17 March 2016 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time (HST).  Inspection of the used military brass shell casings are invited and recommended by contacting Mr. James Sibert at 808-257-4300.  Bid opening will be on 17 March 2016 at 11:00 a.m. HST.  The IFB number is M00318-16-B-0001.  This will be a one-time sale.  This procurement is unrestricted.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562920 with a small business standard of $20.5 million dollars respectively.  The anticipated sale will be firm fixed-price and the bidder shall bid the price per pound.  The Government bid price determination will be based on the highest bid received prior to the closing date and time with the bidder conforming to the terms and conditions of the IFB.  The IFB will be available on or about 16 February 2016.  Bids are due no later than 17 March 2016 at 10:00 a.m. HST.  Bids must be received at the following address prior to the closing date and time: Commanding Officer, MCIPAC Regional Contracting Office-Hawaii, Attn: Steven Takasaki, Box 63063, Building 209, Kaneohe HI  96863-3063.
