The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Radix Biosolutions, 111 Cooperative Way, Suite 120, Georgetown, TX 78626, for the following requirements: 1) Salmonella Serotyping Bead 5-Pack, quantity of 2; and 2) Salmonella Serotyping Bead 100-Pack, quantity of 2. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only Radix Biosolutions will satisfy the Agency's requirement because this is the only vendor that can provide the proprietary technology that is specifically formatted for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
