- IAW FAR 9.2 this synopsis constitutes notice that the Air Force has Repair Qualification Requirements (RQRs) for the repair of the item(s) listed below. This means a company must go through a Source Approval Request (SAR) process. The qualification document is RQR-PSD-1 Rev Basic.
- SAR packages shall be built in accordance with the RQR identified above.
- The QR is provided as a "document package" with this synopsis. SAR packages on the item listed below received by close of business 16 July 2012 will be evaluated by 30 July 2012. Any SAR packages on the item listed below received after 16 July 2012 will be placed in queue and will be evaluated IAW standard timeframes and will not hold up any current procurements.
- Missing data/documents - If additional data/documents are requested, they must be received by 29 July 2012 in order to be evaluated in the 30 July 2012 evaluation timeframe. If additional data/documents are received after 29 July 2012 the entire SAR package will be placed in a queue and be evaluated IAW standard timeframes and will not hold up any current procurements.
- Prior to any repairs being performed a DoD Site Survey will be required unless a current Site Survey approval has been achieved.
