Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support (DLATS) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of Sealing Compound for NSN 8030-01-368-7208 under solicitation number SPE8ES-17-R-0002.  There is a Qualified Products List (QPL) requirement for this NSN, which are procured to SAE AMS3255A.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) no sooner than October 19, 2016. The procurement will be for a fixed-price indefinite quantity contract, with economic price adjustment, for a contract base period of two (2) years and three (3) one (1) year option periods.  The contract shall be awarded under FAR Subpart 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.   This acquisition will be unrestricted and the required production lead time is 30 days ADO.  Delivery will be FOB Destination, with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination for both DLA Direct and Customer Direct CONUS orders.   All quotations must include a copy of a completed solicitation with a firm-fixed price for the two-year base period.
