Department of Education, Federal Student Aid (FSA) is conducting market research and is seeking companies qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses under NAICS CODE 541519 to perform the following functions:
Provide all direct and related Security and Privacy support services required by Federal Student Aid (FSA), at the system and enterprise levels, to ensure its IT solutions are compliant with all relevant Federal security regulations and guidance. This includes the creation and oversight of plans of actions and milestones (POA&Ms), and independent validation of security remediation results; system security assessment and authorization activities (ongoing + every 3 years); policy and procedures development; security training; security documentation maintenance and compliance reviews; specialty security assessments; maintenance of an internal On-Line Security Center SharePoint site; administration/operations and enhancements for an Operational Vulnerability Management Solution (OVMS aka: OpenFISMA) system; Information System Security Officer (ISSO) briefs; incident response and reporting support; requirements and development capabilities; new tool integration and implementation support; vulnerability scan and penetration testing; and other similar types of support focused on ensuring FSA has a usable, compliant security program that supports its business.
