The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to solicit and negotiate with one source.  The proposed source is REMEL: Thermo Fisher Scientific located in Lenexa, KS  66215 to provide the following:
      
1) Sensititre Gram Negative AST Plates for Salmonella & E.coli, Catalog # CMV3AGNF;
2) Sensititre Gram Positive AST Plates for Enterococcus, Catalog # CMV3AGPF;
3) Sensititre Campy MIC AST Plates for Campylobacter, Catalog # CAMPY;
4) Mueller-Hinton Broth with LHB, Catalog # CP112-10;
5) Mueller-Hinton Broth, 11 ml, Catalog #T3462;
6) Mueller-Hinton Broth, 5 ml, Catalog #T-3462-05;
7) Demineralized Water, 5 ml, Catalog #T3339;
8) Doseheads for use with Autoinocular or AIM, Catalog # E3010; and
9) The Contractor shall provide and continue to provide all information and any updates as to the testing capability and must include at a minimum - compounds detected, applicable detection levels in comparison to established tolerances, selectivity data, all quality assurance acceptability information, certificates of analysis if applicable, shelf life of test, and storage requirements (refrigeration or freezing).

The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order.
This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements Citation:   41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1).
 
Please submit your interest in response to this notice, and a description of your capabilities and past experiences to perform this requirement. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond within three calendar (3) days from the date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm's capability to meet the requirement with past performance history. If after Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 5:00 pm EST, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement; USDA/FSIS shall negotiate solely REMEL: Thermo Fisher Scientific.
