DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Mettler Toledo Autochem, Inc., 7075 Samuel Morse Dr., Columbia, MD 21046-3432. The NAICS code is 811219.

However, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a proposal/quote in response to this request and in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Government will consider all responses received within 15 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

The following service/products will be procured:

CLIN 001, Part #: N-0025-4RC1E-FS. Full service agreement for RC1 System. On-site service with unlimited remedial calls including parts, labor, travel, and single preventative maintenance visit.
Period of Coverage: 4/26/09 through 4/25/10.

CLIN 002, Part#: N-00250-7DLAS-FS. Full service agreement for Lasentec D Series systems. On-site service with unlimited remedial calls including parts, labor, travel, and single preventative maintenance visit.
Period of Coverage: 4/3/09 through 4/25/10.

Anticipated Award Date is 06 May 2009.
