The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC),Critical care Medicine Department (CCMD) intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price service maintenance agreement, with Philips Healthcare, a division of Philips Electronics North America Corporation, on the Philips TC70 Page writer Cardiograph device that is critical for obtaining electrocadiographic waveforms to determine the presence of potentially fatal in critically ill patients. The service includes, full repair coverage with no cap for all contracted equipment and on-site repair of units that is available only Monday- Friday from 8:00am through 5:00pm
Philips Healthcare is the sole proprietor of the device. There is no other known company that can provide the breadth and depth of knowledge of the unique instrumentation to properly service the device. Service engineer support is with factory-certified trainers who are kept up to date on all system updates and global customer feedback. There is no other known service organization that can replicate this level of training and expertise on the device.
The period of performance is 12 months with an option of up to four (4) one year option period.
This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
