The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), South Carolina, is hosting a Small Business Outreach Forum!  The event is being held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 7:45 am - 3:30 pm at USC Sumter, Arts and Letters Building, Room 142, 200 Miller Road, Sumter SC, 21950.  During the morning session, Small Business firms will receive information on how commodities, services, and construction requirements are solicited for Shaw AFB.  During this session firms will be provided with Shaw's forecast of upcoming requirements/projects.  The morning session will provide firms with information regarding the Government-wide Purchase Card (GPC) program.  Also, during the morning session, firms will be provided information from the U.S. Small Business Administration, South Carolina District Office and the 628th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, SC.  A box lunch will be provided, during the lunch break firms will be encouraged to visit displays and network.  The afternoon session firms will be provided information from the South Carolina Small Business Development Center and the General Services Administration.  Also, during the afternoon session firms will be provided an opportunity to network and build partnerships with Government representatives.
