The purpose of this Amendment 0002 is to distribute the Questions/Responses:

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Shiga Toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) Screening Technology to adequately equip all three FSIS Laboratories with the capability to test approximately 20,000 beef samples for STEC. The resultant contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. It is the responsibility of interested parties to review SAM.gov frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All potential contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time an offer or quotation is submitted, and lack of registration shall make an offer or quotation ineligible for award.

Inquiries and all correspondence concerning this solicitation should be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist (CS) and Contracting Officer (CO). Offerors should contact only the CS/CO issuing the solicitation about any aspect of this requirement prior to contract award.

Questions shall be submitted via email and reference the solicitation number in the subject line. The deadline for inquires as specified in the SAM.gov publication notice is Friday, 2 June 2023 at 1:00pm Central Standard Time (CST).
