This Statement of Work (SOW) specifies the effort and related tasking to generate a Shipboard Data System (SDS) Information Assurance Package and update existing SSI Increment 2 and SSI Increment 5 Maintenance Information Subsystem (MIN) designs and documentation to reflect the requirements for a Mission Assurance Category (MAC)

classified system.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems

(GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.   GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT

Strategic  Weapon  System  (SWS)  Fire  Control  System  and  Attack  Weapons  Control

System  and  the  only  source  with  the  in-depth   knowledge,   expertise,  and  in-place capability to perform the required effort.
