Siemens HiPath 4000 Maintenance Sources Sought Notice

The 22d Contracting Squadron (22 CONS) of the 22d Air Refueling Wing is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential sources qualified and able to compete for a contract to provide Siemens HiPath 4000 Maintenance at McConnell AFB, Kansas. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) homepage at www.fbo.gov. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information / sources sought notice.

The 22d Contracting Squadron (AMC), McConnell Air Force Base (AFB), Kansas, intends to issue a Sole Source Contract/Award in the AUG/SEP 2015 timeframe to Unify Inc. for the acquisition of Siemens HiPath 4000 Maintenance. The successful contractor must be able to provide maintenance of:

Siemens HiPath 4000 telephone switch (PBX), crisis management dispatch consoles and all associated Siemens telecommunications hardware and software that are installed throughout AMC.

All work must be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work. A "draft" has been attached to this notice for review.

The Government requests interested parties submit a brief statement of current capability to provide this maintenance service and show they are able to perform the requirements as set forth in the attached Statement of Work, and a letter of interest. Please submit proper evidence and/or documentation proving your company is licensed/permitted/ has rights to provide parts, conduct maintenance, and replacement of proprietary rights/data/information for Siemens HiPath 4000 system.

At this time, the Government intends to award a Sole Source contract/award to Unify Inc. for this requirement.
