This is a sole source synopsis and published for informational purposes only. The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Special Operations Forces (SOF), Acquisition. Technology and Logistics (AT&L), Directorate of Procurement, intends to modify contract H92222-07-C-0041, that was previously competed, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Raytheon Company, McKinney, TX. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Government requirements for the sparing needed in support of Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) of the USSOCOM Silent Knight Radar (SKR). USSOCOM intends to issue a contract modification to Raytheon Company (RTN) for spares needed to maintain the LRIP radars post production. The estimated award date is scheduled for last quarter FY15.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or an exception to the Government's intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received within fifteen (15) days of this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government is not responsible for any cost incurred for submissions in response to this notice.
