1. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal, Warren, Michigan, intends to issue a sole-source procurement from Kidde Technologies.  The item being procured is restricted to Kidde Technologies.

The Government intends to procure this hardware on an other than full and open competition basis under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 1901 as authorized and implemented by FAR 13.501(a) “Sole source (including brand name) acquisitions.”

2. There is not a Technical Data Package (TDP) associated with this requirement. The part is available from Kidde Technologies. Only the NSN or manufacture’s part number is acceptable.  No substitutions or replacement is allowed.
