The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Immix Technology, Inc. The proposed effort will provide NRC's Office of Regulatory Research with CAE Extended Tokens of Simulia-ABAQUS software licenses. The period of performance for this effort is one base year beginning May 15, 2017 through May 14, 2018. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Federal Supply Schedule, Subpart 8.405-6 (a) (2) which permits soliciting from a single source, if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only once source is reasonably available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519. ABAQUS software licenses are only available for purchase from its manufacturer's sales outlet, Immix Technology, Inc. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A final determination not to award this proposed procurement based on responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this solicitation must show clear and concise information and should be advantageous to both the vendor and the Government. The evaluation criteria will be lowest cost/technically acceptable. Interested vendors must submit their capabilities to Wanda M. Brown, Contract Specialist, at the above address; U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, TWFN 5-E-18, Washington, D.C. 20555 or via email no later than 9:00am; May 11, 2017.
