1. The Naval Hospital Bremerton (NHB) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR Part 13.501(a)). The proposed source is Sirona USA, 4835 Sirona Drive, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28273. The requirement includes dental prosthesis computer-aided design/manufacturing (CAD/CAM) unit. The units shall be capable of taking digital impressions of both maxillary and mandibular quadrants and accurately capturing the patient's unique occlusion. The CAD softward must be capable of proposing and editing designs for single and multiple unit crowns, inlays, onlays and implant restorations. System needs to be stand alone, no internet connection required. Unit must fit in a space not exceeding 710 x 430 x430 mm. Unit must be self-contained and capable of installation without an external source of water or compressed air. Capable of creating dental restorations from all of the following materials: fine grain feldspathic porcelain, leucite reinforced porcelain, lithium disilicate, hybrid resin-ceramics and zirconia. The electrical requirements are 110V, 60Hz, single phase.
2. The requirement includes one CEREC Chairside Restoration System AC Acquisition Unit (Omnicam), one Practice Lab Milling Unit MC-XL Cabinet, one Scanner, PC & Monitor, Open Inlab Model, Incoris Starter Block Sets, Infire HTC Super Speed Sintering Oven. The milling unit shall be able to accept data from the acquisition unit. The milling unit shall be capable of handling block sizes up to 85mm. The milling unit shall be capable of milling ceramics, polymers, zirconium oxide, and metal. The milling unit shall be capable of producing inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers, bridges, abutments, and surgical guides.
