This announcement constitutes public notice of intent to purchase Sirsi Dynix Software. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The proposed source, Sirsi Dynix, is the manufacturer of the current alarm system. Sirsi Dynix is the only supplier/manufacturer that will interface correctly with this system. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 511210 and has a size standard of $25.0 M. The Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement.
