NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A FIRM FIXED PRICE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT-

The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Aviation and Missile Center’s (AvMC) Information Office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Sirsi Corporation, 3300 North Ashton Boulevard, Lehi, Utah 84043 CAGE 0EXJ8 for the purchase of proprietary software (SirsiDynix Software) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source as follows:

SirsiDynix Core is the basic platform application made up of modules that permit essential functions required of any library (Circulation, Configuration, Cataloging and Reporting); Module not included with the SirsiDynix Core Platform allowing libraries to track book and subscription orders; Module not included with the SirsiDynix Core Platform allowing libraries to track inventory.  

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 511210 and the Small Business size standard is $41.5 million based on the U.S. Small Business Administration, Table of Small Business Size Standards. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source Has Been Identified As Reasonably Available To Provide The Supplies That Will Satisfy The Agency Requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
