The Guardian Angel (GA) members of the 212th Rescue Squadron are required to operate in the harshest climates on earth. Regularly conducting real world operations in arctic conditions while simultaneously training for, and deploying to, some of the hottest and driest parts of the world. Therefore, they require products that ensure operators are capable of surviving in extreme conditions where product failure can quite literally lead to loss of life. These products must have a proven track record of withstanding extreme arctic conditions while also allowing for maximum comfort, function and performance of GA Operators.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All items below are
