This is a synopsis of a solicitation for Small Shelter Systems and parts for Air Base 101, Niamey, Niger, Africa. This requirement will be solicited and evaluated under procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12, Commercial Items, and of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  The Product Service Code is 8340.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 314910, the size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation will be posted on or about 19 December 2016.  The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to the responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government.  The anticipated award date for this requirement is no later than 25 January 2017.  The anticipated delivery date will be 30 days after date of award with FOB Destination.  All responsible contractors may submit a quotation and will be considered by 768 EABS/Contracting.  Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties review this website frequently for any updates or amendments to any documents.  Interested parties should subscribe to receive procurement announcement related to this solicitation by entering the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and clicking on Vendor Notification Service Area to register.  The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation either before or after the solicitation closing date.
