In accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), in order to participate in their 2013 national conference and recruiting event. The 2013 SWE conference has been identified by the NAVSEA Enterprise Talent Management Office as a high visibility event that aligns with the NAVSEA mission statement. This event is solely sponsored by SWE; therefore, SWE is the only organization that can provide these unique services. The event will provide an opportunity to enhance potential candidates' knowledge of NAVSEA and market its career possibilities. (see numbered note 22)
