The Social Security Administration is looking for a Mainframe Software JCL Checker that has the following mandatory features and functions:
1) The product can be installed in a JES3 environment without modification.
2) The product recognizes JCL statements and JCL syntax that are JES3 specific.
3) The product must have the capability to reformat JCL.
4) The product must be able to process single members and entire PDS or PDSE datasets.
5) The product must provide an interface to BMC Softwareâs Control M batch scheduling automation software and dynamically evaluate Control M AutoEdit variables that are both standard and user defined.
6) The product must interface with CA Top Secret for security checks.
7) The product must support user specific JCL standards through a rule driven process and not by coding extensive user exits.
8) The product must be executable under ISPF/TSO (foreground) and batch (background).
Interested parties capable of providing the above referenced performance specifications are invited to reply to this notice. All replies must include information detailing the solutionâs capabilities, as well as information on the supplying firmâs prior history of performing products and services of a similar nature, size, scope, and complexity to those described. Information supplied in reply to this notice will be used solely for market research purposes to assist SSA in creation of a possible future procurement strategy. Vendors responding shall indicate whether their services are available on the GSA Federal Supply Schedules. Pricing data must be submitted supporting this. Interested parties should also provide information on the scalability of their solutions, and information on how their products are marketed and sold to the public and/or Government (e.g., software licensure, product quantities and prices, hourly rates, per user based pricing, etc..)
