This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using acquisition of commercial items procedures under FAR part 12 to procure Arena Simulation Software Upgrades, to include technical support, and training in support of The United States Marine Corps, located Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to Rockwell Automation, 12100 Corporate Drive, Suite 550, Wexford, PA 15090. The purposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: This requirement duration of contract is from date of ward through 30 September 2013. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
