. Program Details:
The contractor shall provide overall training on Solaris Trusted Extensions Installation, Configuration, and Administration Course.
The Contractor shall provide training that includes, at a minimum the following:
• Installing the Trusted Extensions package onto a Solaris 10 system
• Creating and configuring labeled zones
• Configuring labeled networking in the labeled zones
• Designing a security labeling scheme
• Implementing a security labeling scheme with the label_encodings data base
• Applying the principle of least privilege to processes and users, and use privileges to grant additional rights to processes
• Using authorizations to grant rights to users
• Using the Service Management Facility to configure Solaris Trusted Extensions services and to secure Solaris services
• Configuring the auditing system to audit user and kernel activity
• Configuring networking between Solaris Trusted Extensions systems and other labeled and unlabeled systems
• Configuring Network File System (NFS) and Loopback File System (LOFS) file system types in a labeled environment
• The course will include exercises simulating daily usage activities for students using Solaris Trusted Extensions as a code development platform
• The course must be Oracle part number D61906GC10
• Must have Official Oracle University System Configuration in Remote Lab Mode (Jumpstart Configuration) for Solaris 10 Trusted Extensions loaded on the machines provided to students for the class
• Student system must have multiple network interfaces for multi-level networking capability
• The contractor shall provide training for up to 16 people at a Government provided facility local to - but not located on - HAFB.
• The contractor shall provide training completion certificates for attendees.
