This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Health Effects Laboratory Division (HELD). HELD has a requirement for Usage of UHPLC and Q Exactive mass spectrometer for metabolomics analysis of serum and lavage fluid. It's compatible with our current software for metabolomics data analysis, which is Compound Discoverer 3.0 from Thermo Scientific. This compatibility allows seamless integration of raw data into the processing software, as well as technical support from the vendor.

This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, all proposals received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
