The Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Medtronics, Inc. pursuant to FAR 6.302-1; for the purchase of a endovascular graft deployment system. These systems will 1) pre-sized to the patient's unique anatomy by the surgeon; 2) have a hydrophilic coating; 3) have a contralateral gate marker; 4) contain proximal markers; 5) product must be MRI safe; 6) be composed of a multifilament polyester to prevent growth of the aneurysm sac; 7) sheathed or unsheathed to prevent drag and possible dislodge of plaque, unsheathed has the benefit of a smaller diameter; 8) have the capability of being hand delivered and accompanied by a rep of the manufacturer.
