THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED.

NSWC, IHEODTD Indian Head, intends to award a contract on a noncompetitive basis to Haworth, Inc. C/O Price Modern of Washington, One Haworth Center, Holland MI 49423.

To procure Haworth Premise Furniture to integrate with the existing furniture system for the power/data/communication that are integrated into the cubicles.  Installers must be Haworth certified.  The following is required:

- 1^st Floor 11 Haworth Premise Workstations

- 2^nd Floor 1 Haworth Premise Workstation

- 3^rd Floor 6 Haworth Premise Workstations

This action is be undertaken in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b) Soliciting from a single source, on the basis that the vendor is the only known source capable of meeting the Government's requirements based on previously installed furniture.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is

337214 - Office Furniture.

The small business size determination is 1000 (employees).

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotes. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 4:00 p.m. EST on 11 September 2018. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
