Hood Community College intends to use Laerdal Medical Corporation as a Sole Source Vendor. Currently the simulation equipment and software used at MHCC is the LLEAP software and manikins purchased previously from Laerdal. The continued use of this equipment and software builds on existing knowledge and experience of faculty/staff who use this equipment in providing student institution and evaluation. These manikins will not completely replace all simulation equipment but they will be integrated into our existing equipment resources. The LLEAP software that faculty use is unique to Laerdal products. All of our current F2F simulation scenarios are housed in LLEAP software; it will provide better instruction and consistency of instruction to continue to use the same software technology. Estimated Cost (5 years): $90,000 Any entity wishing to protest this sole source procurement must do so prior to 3:00 PM on Mach 12, 2021 All written protests must include: 1.
