McChord Field intends to do a Sole Source purchase from Teton Avjet for a Mig Fury Fighters Air Show. McChord Field intends to establish a Firmed Fixed Price Award for the following; CLIN 0001 - Mig Fury Fighters Air Show. CLIN 0002 Ferrying Cost for Aircraft. The government intends to under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, full and open competition need not be provided for when a statute expressly authorizes. This notice will be distributed solely through the Government Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website www.fedbizopps.gov Teton Avjet is the only known source that is able to provide highly trained jet pilots and specialized war birds capable of performing a choreographed dog fight between a FJ-4 Fury and two MiGs (MiG-17F & MiG-15bis). This is required in order to highlight AF aircraft from a multitude of eras resulting in a well rounded show Mig Fury Fighters own and maintain the only flying FJ-4 Flury in the world. The North American Industrial System number is 711219 and the size standard is $7.0 million. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
