The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Acquisition (OAQ) has issued a firm-fixed price sole source contract to General Dynamics for US National Sectera vIPer Secure phones, under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) Test Program for Commercial Items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996). The requirement is to provide 200 of the noted items for ICE Office of Professional Responsibility. The Government has determined through market research that General Dynamics is the only known company capable of providing the required items. In order to comply with the requirements at FAR 13.501 (a)(1)(iii), the Sole Source Justification is hereby published within 14 days of the date of award. This notice satisfies the requirement of FAR 6.305 procedures for publicizing contract actions and is not a notice for receipt of quotes.
