Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order for pyrosequencing of four adenoviruses from Stanford University. Stanford University houses the only facility that can satisfy the scientific requirement because Stanford has the only pyrosequencing facility located in California. In addition, they are the fastest sequencing facility in the Western United States. Because of Stanford's proximity to Travis AFB, the viruses can be driven there. The viruses will be sequenced in two weeks from the time Stanford receives the viruses. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NAICS Code 621511 applies, size standard $12.5M. SIC 8071 applies. FSC Q301 applies.
